Simple Frosting
adapted from asri-simplekitchen

Ingredients:
650 gram unsulted butter (i use 325 gr)
100 gr icing sugar (i use 75 gr)

200 gr vegetable shortening (i use 50 gr)

(i also added 1/2 tsp vanilla extract)

How to make simple frosting:
Place all ingredients in a bowl and beat until white and fluffy

How to apply frosting to the cake:
- Place a cake on a flat surface, cover with frosting using a frosting spatula. spread it evenly until thick you desire

- Put second cake on the first cake and frosting

- Cover all of the cake surfaces with frosting, it may look a bit mess but you'll work on it. The tip is not to give up smoothing your frosting with the frosting spatula. Do it over and over again.

- Last thing to do is decorate the cake with the remaining frosting, let your creativity guide you ;)

And the result is..... Voila!

About the blue frosting.. Actually blue is not Anita's favorite colour, but white seems so plain and pink is so girly. So i give it a try with blue frosting. Alhamdulillah Anita likes it.
Happy birthday my sweety ;*
